Is it surprising at all that I will be doing NaNoWriMo again? I always feel so accomplished after November - the "YES! I've spent the whole month writing! Yay me!" - to a huge letdown in December and subsequent months because then it's "Oh shit. I've got to edit now." (which I keep pushing off).
But once again, I am going to chase that feeling of accomplishment - and spend the month writing. Since October is normally a "prep" month (hence, "PrepTober"), I know I need to start plotting at least some of what I will be writing. I'm definitely more of a loose outline where I've a couple of words to indicate where the story should go rather than a detailed outline and scenes.
This year, though, I'm struggling to figure out what I should do. I don't want another happenstance of last year - decided the night before to change what I was going to work on. That led to panic, anxiety, and honestly, not a very fun NaNo - and it should be fun.
So, I've created a poll below. Help me out - and choose which project I should work on for NaNo 2022?
What should I work on for NaNo?
New: The story that is reminiscent of "A Little Princess"
New: The story that has "Alice in Wonderland" vibes
Re-write of "The Lost Daughter" (2nd draft)
Continuing the Goddess story ("The Gift")
Just a quick reminder: all my novels have a d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing character(s).
