Books with Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Characters

Updated: Apr 3

I do have a list on my regular site, but sometimes a blog post is also needed.

This is a list of books that have d/Deaf and/or Hard-of-Hearing characters OR books that are written by d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing authors. The book titles are italicized. Books that I have read are in bold text. The rest are on my list to read.

Please note how I am using the asterisks:

* Written by a Deaf / Hard-of-Hearing author

** Written by an ASL interpreter OR hearing author that has a D/HH family member
